Does Reel Women Media offer digital licensing? 
Yes. Reel Women Media proudly offers STREAMING LICENSES through our streaming distributor, KanopyStreaming.com  Please contact Kanopy for the streaming title you are interested in.

 

Do you accept Purchase Orders?
Yes. But we require pre-payment with your purchase order.

Are your films available for rent?
No. Sorry. Reel Women Media does not rent films.

 

I am a tax-exempt organization/school. Do you charge tax?
We are not tax-exempt and charge tax on DVD home purchases within NY State.

 

I need a completed W-9 form on file before I can place my order. 
What is the fastest way to obtain this?
For your convenience, we now have our completed W-9 form available for download. You can download a pdf copy HERE.

 

Can I return my DVD?

Only if it is damaged. We will gladly replace it with the same DVD program.

Institutional Sales: US 

Institutions are required to purchase at list price. Purchase effectively means lease for the life of the DVD.              

Prices include public performance rights for organizational, or library use by the acquiring institution for non-paying audiences only.  Alternate Face-To-Face Classroom Rights are available for a single classroom setting only. See License Agreement for full terms. Any screenings that are open to the public or where admission is charged may result in additional fees. Sales are shipped to arrive within 7 business days. For items needed sooner, a $25 rush charge will apply. Please specify date needed.

Archival Copies

Additional copies of the same title may be purchased for 50% of the list price if purchased at the same time. 

PAL Format

PAL DVD’s can be ordered with advanced notice. There is a surcharge of $150 on each DVD ordered.  

PAL special orders will take 4-8 weeks to fulfill. 

 

Shipping & Handling Fees: U.S.

Orders are shipped to arrive 7 business days from the time the order is received. For orders needed sooner, a rush charge of $25 per order will apply. See below for details. The following fees cover standard shipping & handling within the United States:

Rush Orders 
A rush fee of $25 per order will apply to sales needed within 2 weeks from the receipt of order. Please include a "need by" date with all rush orders. We are unable to accommodate orders that must ship the same day on which they are ordered.

Institutional Sales: International
Standard Shipping 
All international orders must be prepaid in U.S. dollars. International orders must be pre-paid and placed by PayPal to sales@reelwomen.com. Please fax us a purchase order first to : (516) 621-2525. We will then email you an invoice with your purchase order information. You can then pay the invoice through PayPal, and you order will ship out within 1-2 business days.

 

For Festival Screenings and other Public Exhibitions outside of North America, please inquire.

• There is a $300 minimum for international orders.

• Special orders take approximately 4 weeks to ship.

• Sorry we are unable to offer previews, educational rentals or discounted sales to overseas customers at this time.

Shipping & Handling Fees: International

Customers outside North America have three shipping options as outlined below. A rush fee of $25 will apply to orders needed less than 4 weeks from receipt of order. 

Standard Service via U.S. Post (approximately 2-4 weeks delivery)

• $35 first DVD, each additional DVD add $ 6

Express via Federal Express (approximately 1 week delivery)

• Europe: $55 first DVD, each additional DVD add $6

• Asia, Africa, Australia, Latin America, Middle East and New Zealand: $65 first DVD, each additional DVD add $8

Refunds and Exchanges

All sales are final. If a tape or DVD arrives damaged, we will replace it at no cost. If you receive a tape or DVD that was damaged during shipment, please contact us at 516-621-2525 as soon as possible. If a DVD is damaged after purchase, a replacement copy can be obtained for 50% of the list price, plus shipping and handling. All damaged DVDs must be returned prior to replacement. 

Public Exhibition

Prices for public exhibition in theatres, museums, and cultural institutions are based on format, theater or venue capacity, ticket price, and number of screenings.  To request a quote for a public screening, please email us at info@reelwomen.com with the following information:

Title, number of screenings per film, admission and seating capacity. We will confirm availability within 5 days. 

Previews
(Institutions, Reviewers and Programmers Only)

Previews are available for a $20 fee per title (including shipping) for a 5-day period for purchase consideration only at the full list price. Sorry, we are unable to extend preview privileges for rentals, titles on special offer or for low-cost titles (under $100). However, Women Make Movies staff is available to offer programming assistance. Institutions with special preview needs should inquire to orders@wmm.com.

Home Video Versions

Home viewing versions of DVDs are to individuals in the U.S. for personal home viewing with family and friends only. Home video versions are for personal home use only, and programs are protected by copyright. It is strictly prohibited to screen, loan or broadcast for any group for either educational or commercial purposes.
